Evening Harbour Tours
Evenings are also a great time for a tour as quite often the wind falls flat. We can arrange one-hour or two-hour charters to explore the history around Lerwick harbour.
Private Wildlife Photography Tours
We have the best boat for that special, bespoke photography trip outside of our scheduled tours. This is available to amateur & professional photographers. We are licensed to take up to 12 passengers. If there is availability during our scheduled advertised tours for your group private charter and you wish to alter timings, no problem. If you have a specific tour plan e.g underwater photography or any other bespoke tour – please just contact us to discuss your requirements and we will be happy to assist.
Our catamaran Seabird has a huge viewing platform so if you have a group of our max of 12 passengers, then you could be on no better boat as Seabird. Even with a full capacity of 12 everyone has room to be positioned to get the best wildlife shots. We also have a dry storage area inside the cabin where you can store any equipment safely and securely. If you get cold, no problem! Just head into our heated cabin where we will gladly serve you warm refreshments. We are happy to plan and tailor the trip to suit your requirements.
Expeditions To The Top Of Britain
If you’re thinking to take some friends and family on an expedition to Muckle Flugga, which is the northernmost tip of Britain, or to the islands of Out Skerries, Fetlar or Yell – we’ll be pleased to help.
Sea Angling Trips
With her roomy deck and double hulls, Seabird is an ideal sea angling boat. There’s good cod, ling, saithe and pollack fishing within half an hour of Lerwick Harbour. Bring your own gear or use ours. Bait provided.
Subsea Inspection Service
Underwater inspections of ships, moorings, piers, etc., at short notice, at Lerwick or anywhere on the east coast of Shetland.
If you have a problem, check it out first with our ROV and view a digital video of the scene – so when your divers enter the water they can go straight to the cause of the trouble and make the best use of their expensive time.

As planners, we enjoy planning charter trips for special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, surprise treats, work parties, retirement parties etc Just give us a call and we can talk over your plans for an outing to remember.
Winter Wildlife Excursions
Shetland’s winter wildlife is diverse and fascinating. In addition to residents like cormorants, shags, tysties, fulmars and eiders, we can show you great northern divers, red-breasted mergansers, little auks, long-tailed ducks, Slavonian grebes, Iceland and glaucous gulls, lots of wading birds on migration – and always crowds of seals. Oh, and the underwater visibility is actually at its best in winter – when the plankton blooms have died down.
If we have to wait for a ‘weather window’ we’ll put your name and phone number on the standby list and call you as soon as it’s possible to sail.
