Sullom Voe tanker terminal in winter - when Dunter III does the seabird surveysThe Noss & Bressay cruise will also operate from 16th September 2008 to 14th April 2009, any day when the weather's suitable and if we have at least four adult passengers booked.

We also offer charters to Fair Isle and the northern islands of Unst, Yell, Fetlar and Out Skerries - quotations on request.

When it's weather to go to sea, then that's where we'll be, except during annual refit (usually 7th - 21st March)

Shetland's winter wildlife is diverse and fascinating. In addition to residents like Cormorants, Shags, Tysties, Fulmars and Eiders, we can show you Great Northern Divers, Red-breasted Mergansers, Little Auks, Long-tailed Ducks, Slavonian Grebes, Iceland and Glaucous Gulls lots of wading birds on migration - and always crowds of Seals. Oh, and the underwater visibility is actually at its best in winter - when the plankton blooms have died down.

"Charlie" investigates Dunter III during a January sea-angling trip. For out-of season bookings contact us direct or call Shetland Islands Tourism on +44 (0)1595 69 34 34 for details.
